Luci Romberg is a professional stuntwoman in Hollywood, CA. Luci is a member of The Stunt Women’s Association of Motion Pictures and Team Tempest freerunning. Luci has appeared in numerous films, TV shows, commercials, and is Peter Pan at the Fantasmic! show at Disneyland. As a national champion gymnast and all-conference soccer player in college, Luci’s transition into stunts was seamless.
She has performed stunts on films such as Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Changeling, and Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, to name a few. Luci grew up on a small farm in Colorado where she had horses, goats, dogs, cats, hedgehogs, ferrets, etc. Ever since she could walk, Luci has been involved in athletics. She competed competitively in tennis, soccer, softball, volleyball, gymnastics, and diving. As she neared high school, things became so hectic that her parents suggested she choose only three sports. She settled on gymnastics, soccer, and diving. She lettered 9 times. The summer between her junior and senior year, Luci accepted a gymnastics scholarship to Texas Woman’s University.
From playing “greatest catches” with her dad to traveling the globe with her mother, brother, and sister, Luci treasures her closeness to her family. Her mom, Royce, grew up in Baytown, TX. She attended the University of Texas on a full-ride tennis scholarship. She is a free spirit who loves to travel and to barrel-race in the pro rodeo. Luci’s dad, Dave, grew up in Hannibal, MO, and went to Kirbyville College on a full-ride tennis scholarship. Dave is an incredible athlete. He competes in several national tennis tournaments a year, and usually comes home with a gold!
Brady, Luci’s younger brother, is a professional stuntman in Hollywood as well. Truly athletic, he was the starting pitcher at the Colorado School of Mines and graduated with a BS in physics engineering and a minor in economics. The youngest, Carly, is in her senior year at the University of North Carolina (Charlotte) on a full-ride volleyball scholarship. She was Libero of the Year for two years in a row and continues to break records. She will be spending her final semester in Spain.
Luci attended Texas Woman’s University on a gymnastics scholarship where she got a BS (Cum Laude) in Kinesiology. Her junior year, she was team captain; her senior year, she was the National All-Around Champion. She also received the Outstanding Senior award and was an 11-time All-American. She was a member of the Dean’s List, Who’s Who, Mortar Board, and was nominated for the Honda Award twice. Luci played soccer at TWU for two years, was captain, and was named 2nd Team All-Conference. After graduation, she spent the summer in Europe with friends, then moved to Hollywood to pursue her dream of being a professional stuntwoman. The rest is history…

Luci’s life changed forever when, through her close friend and fellow stuntwoman, Natascha Hopkins, she met Team Tempest and the world of freerunning. Team Tempest is comprised of elite US freerunners who are among the top in the world. Luci is the only girl on the team and is one of few female freerunners in the world. Her goal is to raise the bar for women everywhere and to influence and inspire them to follow their dreams.
